Rachel grew up in Cresco, IA on her family’s cow-calf farm. There, she helped out on the farm and was involved in organizations like 4-H and FFA. It wasn’t until she attended Iowa State University for her undergraduate degree that she discovered her passion for swine production, health, and management. Rachel graduated with her DVM from Iowa State University in May of 2021. In her free time, she enjoys baking, hiking and spending time with her family, friends and her small Scottish Highland cattle herd.
