Dan Hanson graduated from Dordt College in Sioux Center Iowa in 2005 with a BA in Animal Science. In September of 2006 he started his career with Pipestone beginning with the swine production team. As the Pipestone Research program began to take shape in 2008, Dan sought a position as research barn manager at Research Barn 1.

Today, Dan fills the position of Director of Research Operations overseeing the day-to-day activities and trial protocol execution at all 6 of PIPESTONE’S research barns.

Dan and his wife Amy live by Edgerton MN with their 2 sons on the family farm where the air is fresh and the laughter is plentiful.
